 Hello, this is me and my team's finished and completed film. For this film we wanted to capture all aspects of horror and thriller to let the audience know instantly the genre we chose and were trying to portray.We began by having Carmen, the primary character, be perplexed and look around because she has a hunch that someone is nearby and because she is afraid because Melanie left to get gloves while Carmen is by herself. The assassin watched for her and chased her into the classroom in an effort to carry out his murderous plot. Breathless and terrified, Carmen makes a quick getaway to the classroom with her companion Melanie, telling her about the murderer. Unaware of the circumstances and doubting Carmen's story, Melanie attempts to track down the alleged "killer" on her own. Unfortunately, Melanie does not make it out alive after seeing the murderer. The killer enters the classroom door heads towards the closet and begins to twist the door knob and bang on the do...

A group of my peers in school sat down and viewed the draft of our opening film. We played the film on our group members' laptop, Melanie A. The first thing they recommended was to take out the "The End" lettering since the film is an "opening." The next tip was to take out the part where the killer opens the door since the killer is smiling and to make the plot seem like the main killer stays alive instead of getting killed. To replace the killer opening the door they suggested that we add  a scene of the protagonist being in the closet and holding scissors and saying, " if you come in here i will kill you." Another add in was to put the title all the way towards the end of the opening. The final suggestions were to put darker lighting throughout the film and to add more inticing music with all the scenes.

   Hello this is our first draft of our opening film, in this film we wanted to portray the genre of horror by adding fear infused sounds, a tall scary antagonist, and two innocent protagonists being chased. We started by having the main protagonist Carmen be confused and look around since she has an instinct that someone is around, she is scared since Melanie went to get gloves and she is alone. The killer waiting and sighting for her chase her to the class room hoping to execute his plan of killing her. Carmen makes a quick escape to the classroom with her friend Melanie, breathless and scared she tells her about the killer. Melanie oblivious to the situation and in disbelief questions if Carmen is telling the truth, so he tries to find the said “killer” herself. Melanie unfortunately sights the killer but luckily makes an escape. Unluckily for Carmen the killer makes his way into the classroom and opens the classroom door that she is in.  After the peer feedback  we changed the title from being in the start of the opening to the ending. We also added darker lighting to the hallway scene.

 Post peer feedback we took it to our advantage to re edit our movie. We added dark lighting, more credits, and a plot inducing ending.

 Hi, these are some of my groups hilarious bloopers while attempting to film our scenes for our opening film.These are bloopers from day 1,2, and 3 from filming.

 For Day 3 we filmed specifically the killer’s scenes. We filmed him entering the classroom . Then we added him stomping and walking towards the closest door. The last scene we filmed was the killer banging and twisting the door knob. 

For Day 2 we began filming the scene where the killer appears hiding behind the rectangular building peeking at the protagonist. The protagonist acts out seeing the killer then runs away in agony. The killer is filmed standing in the middle of the hallway to introduce the character. Then we filmed Carmen running to the classroom and into the closet to tell Melanie about what occurred outside.

  We  started off by filming the two main characters in the film at the garden for environmental club. We stated our action lines by stating that it was a great day outside and  Carmen asked  Melanie to get gloves to begin gardening.  We then filmed Carmen looking back numerous times and asking what is behind her. We skipped to film this scene since the character of the killer was not present. We filmed Carmen with light in the closet covering her mouth acting scared. The door is being banged and twisted on to express the killer is behind the door hitting it and twisting the door knob.

FADE IN EXT. SCHOOL GARDEN IN THE AFTERNOON Two friends staying after school helping with their environmental club's garden DISSOLVE TO: Melanie, the main character's best friend, is crouching in the garden MELANIE (enthusiastic) It's such a beautiful day out in the garden Carmen! Carmen, the main character, looking at the plants in the garden CARMEN (happily) Yes! It really is MELANIE (concerned) Oh no! You forgot the gloves CARMEN Oh, I did. Could you please go get them for me? Melanie stands up to leave MELANIE Sure! I'll b right back. Melanie walks away towards the school building FADE TO: Carmen is looking down at the garden when all of a sudden she hears a noise A rustling noise can be heard in the back Carmen turns her head CARMEN (worryingly) What was that?! Carmen looks back again A guy dressed in all black appears from behind the wall Carmen gasps and starts running towards the classroom as she is now being chased by this mysterious figure The guy follows her ...
